Seriously, guys, when was the last time you ran with the devil? It's been a
while, hasn't it? Leave it to David Lee Roth to show us all the way, yet
again, this time courtesy of Arduino-based soundbox created with help from the
Adafruit Wave Shield. The box runs on a nine-volt battery and has a big
trigger button on the top that plays what sounds like Roth's infamous "Runnin'
With the Devil" isolated vocal tracks through a speaker on the bottom. The
box's builder has promised more to come -- we'd like to request a Murry Wilson
"I'm a genius, too" box, if one isn't already in the pipeline.

How was Van Halen different when Sammy Hagar was the Singer then when david lee roth was?

and dont say like they sucked.. like im talking about the music van halen had. what was the music like when they had David Lee Roth and what was it like when they had Sammy im a newbie and just trying to learn the 2 Eras of the band thanks!!

I liked both eras, but I loved Van Halen with Roth and Hagar solo.

In my opinion, the nonchalant, impromptu, playboy approach Roth brought lyrically matched well with EVH's seemingly unorchestrated virtuoso style. When Hagar came in, the band literally somewhat adopted some of his, admittedly more orchestrated, pop-rock sensibilities. This seemed to mesh with where EVH was headed anyway. However, it always seemed the songs were too orchestrated and produced in that era and lost a bit of that "completely out of control" feel of the early Van Halen tunes.
