Why does this generation of young people have such bad taste?

I mean Twilight is the terrible, it's so untastefully done and there's nothing classic about it, it's just a poor attempt.

The musics tacky and rubbish too.

Plus the awful disney shows, with the endless quirky characters in them, makes me feel slightly ill.

I miss a good disney cartoon alongside an elton john ballad.

Most of the stuff you're mentioning (besides the music, where I'll have to disagree) is really just phases. I'm sure that once "we" grow up a little "we'll" grow out of it... Remember how hyped up on Harry Potter everyone used to be? That's pretty much over. Plus, the Disney Channel things are more for the 5-10 year-olds, they just put older kids in the shows to make it look like it appeals to all youth.

Now the music. When you we're a teen did you listen to the music your parents did? Nope, and it wasn't even close to theirs either was it?
