'Britain's Got Talent': The next Susan Boyle? (Chicago Tribune)

The sixth season of "Britain's Got Talent" just debuted this past weekend and
already one contestant has emerged as the show's breakout star and been dubbed
the 'next Susan Boyle.'   After bringing down the house in a performance that
Simon Cowell called "unbelievable," 17 year-old opera singer Jonathan Antoine
is being compared to 50 year-old Boyle who rose to fame during her stint on
the third season of BGT. Despite the age difference between the two, perhaps
the most obvious similiarity is the contrast between their extraordinary vocal
ability and outward appearance.   When Antoine, took the BGT stage Saturday in
London, alongside his singing partner Charlotte Jaconelli, he instantly caught
flack from judge Simon Cowell, who said "Just when you thought things couldn't
get any worse, " upon seeing the heavyset singer. However, when the long-
haired slouchy-dressed teenager opened his mouth he, much like Boyle, brought
the audience and panel of judges to their feet in disbelief.    Following the
duo's rendition of Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion's "The Prayer," the two
received a standing ovation and Antoine was showered with praises and
